Monday 15th- Friday 19th June

Thank you for all of your emails and photographs of your fantastic work.  I love to hear from you and to see what you have been doing at home.  I think the Queen would be very impressed by some of this week’s creations!  Included in the slideshow below are two messages for you from your friends in Reception.

This week’s book is ‘The Frog Prince’; I hope you enjoy it.  In addition to this, it’s really important that you are registered with Oxford Owl in order to avail of the wide range of ebooks they have available.  Please go to www.oxfordowl.co.uk and register if you haven’t already done so.

Once again, if your child is in school as part of the ‘Key Worker Bubble’ please follow the activities in order.  If you are working at home it is best if the Maths is completed in the order set.  All Education City phonics and extra Maths games are in a folder marked w/b 15th June.

I hope you all have a good week!

Messages for you, a posh afternoon tea, a fancy frock and lots more!

Whole school PSHE

More fantastic work and a first birthday!

Back to School!

8th-12th June 2020

Home Learning has changed, again! I do hope however that it makes things a bit more flexible for you.  The plan is for a week and is split into daily activities.  If you are continuing to work from home with your child you can follow it in any order you like.  If your child is coming into school, as part of the ‘Reception Bubble’ or as part of the ‘Keyworker Bubble’ please follow the order given as this is the order we will follow in school and we don’t want to repeat learning that you’ve done at home.  Thank you!

For the next three weeks our focus will be- Castles, Kings, Queens, Princesses and Princes.  Each week there will be a book focus and the writing activities and creative activities will be based on this.

To start us off and to celebrate the Queen’s official birthday this week, we are reading The Queen’s Knickers by Nicholas Allan. I think you will enjoy it!

I hope you all have a good week.
