Welcome to St Charles Catholic Voluntary Academy. We are a catholic school with 45% of our pupils being Catholics.
Nationally 68% of pupils in our schools are catholic. There 2230 schools nationally, with 852,321 pupils being taught and 50 353 teachers working in our schools.
Catholic Education in England is the second largest provider of education and we are proud to be amongst the most inclusive and ethnically diverse schools in the country.
First Holy Communion
We visited St Charles church to have a look around. We noticed lots of interesting features and learned a little about the history of the church.

RE teaching in our school aims to be inclusive, to be diverse, to be multi cultural and respectful of other faiths and cultures. We acknowledge the wider community and aim to teach our pupils about British values so they are proud of the country they live in.
Our curriculum plans for the teaching of other faiths and we follow the 'Come and See' RE Curriculum alongside Journey in Love and 1Decision to develop personal, social and health education. (PSHE).
