Forest Schools

Year 1 have had a fantastic time this year at forest school.  They have learnt new games, skills, worked as a team, learnt about trees and minibeasts, been investigators and much more.  At the same time they have been given the freedom of choice so they can build on their strengths also attempt things they are less sure of when they have built up the confidence.  What a wonderful experience.

Year 4 have spent the last 9 weeks attending Forest School. All the children had an amazing experience - learning about the different areas around our school. Looking at the landscape, the trees, the animals and how things live.
They got to take part in some exciting activities like:
• Den building.
• Kite making.
• Orienteering.
• Fire building.
• Making Manchester Bees
And lots of other fun things. They all really enjoyed taking part and they learnt vital skills throughout these nine important weeks - including building friendships and team work.
